Our journey begins with an incredible book, an incredible journal... the Journal. But the events leading up to the purchasing of the Journal is equally as important as the Journal itself. As we entered the 7th grade, our first experience in a school where there wasn’t one class and one teacher, but 6 periods a day, we found we had different ideas and different ways to go. Jessica felt the curriculum wasn’t what she needed while Samantha decided that what she needed was just more challenges. These separate thoughts caused separation entirely, though not in an entirely bad way. Jessica skipped to the 8th grade while Samantha skipped to 7th honors classes. The probability of seeing each other became limited. On one of the rare occasions that they got together, they stumbled upon a bookstore with an especially pretty book sitting in it. An especially pretty Journal. Hardly ever do they agree on anything as far as likes and dislikes, but this Journal was one thing they completely agreed on.

From then on the Journal traveled back and forth between residences, and they’d write about the adventures of their day, their week, their life to come, and all things on their mind. A few years passed and they had different schedules as different people do, making it extremely difficult to pass the Journal back and forth. A thought occurred to them; there were two girls, and only one journal, and what would happen when the Journal was filled to the brim with their lives? Would only one of them be able to keep it? With the amazing things technology can do, one blog and two girls became a very fantastic idea. The blog can be viewed, altered, added to, and changed from different houses with a seconds difference, and when it was all done? It has potential to be printed and kept for all eternity by both parties.
